TPC Stadium Course at PGA West
Rated as on of the "Top 100 Courses in the World" by GOLF MAGAZINE and 4th toughest course in America in Golf Digest's "Top 50 Toughest Courses in America (2007)," there may be no greater challenge or excitement in the game of golf than the Stadium at PGA WEST! The world famous Stadium is one of Pete Dye's finest course creations, delivering multiple adrenaline rushes throughout the round. A "must play" for all golfers, but no the faint of heart. Host to PGA TOUR "Q-School" Finals every other year, PGA TOUR hopefuls must steady their nerves to navigate the island green of hole #17, known as Alcatraz. Imagine yourself as one of them, needing to make par on the menacing water-lined 18th hole to earn the coveted PGA TOUR card!
PGA WEST® Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course
Challenge, beauty and drama permeate every Jack Nicklaus Course, and the masterfully designed Nicklaus Tournament is no exception. It is one of the only courses in the world to feature two island greens. The enormous and undulated double-green of holes 9 & 18 are perfectly viewed from the Stadium Clubhouse. Relax and enjoy your lunch while watching fellow golfers attempt to hit their approach shots over massive bodies of water onto the dance floor.
Once tied with TPC Stadium Course at PGA West for the highest slope rating (150) in all of Southern California, the Nicklaus Tournament continues to play co-host to PGA TOUR Qualifying Finals. With nostalgic railroad ties along stretches of sandy beach and gorgeous mountain views, you will want to come back to play this Member favorite time and again.
PGA WEST® Greg Norman Course
PGA WEST's Championship Course "Six Pack" was completed in May of 2000 with the desert-scaped, target-style layout of The Greg Norman. A prehistoric ocean bed 40 feet below sea level is now the territory of emerald green fairways, crushed white marble bunkers and shark blue waters. Vibrant wildflowers are a stunning contrast to the surrounding crescent of terra cotta mountains, creating a golf experience like no other.
The Norman also hosts "The Prestige at PGA WEST," one of college golf's most acclaimed Intercollegiate Invitational events, drawing only top-ranked universities. The Norman sets PGA WEST apart from any other club in the world by adding yet another fabulous golf course style, a true desert layout, to be enjoyed by its Members.
La Quinta Resort Dunes Course
The La Quinta Resort Dunes course has held both the California State Open and PGA Tour Qualifying School. Designed by Pete Dye, it provides a relaxing round of golf with spectacular views of the surrounding mountain and desert landscapes. Well bunkered with railroad ties and lots of water.
The Pete Dye designed Dunes Course provides a relaxing round of golf surrounded by dramatic landscapes. Out of the traditional Scottish mold, this links style course favors accuracy from the tee allowing access to its well-guarded greens. The Dunes Course is ranked among Golf Digest's "Top 75 Resort Courses" in America, and was the site of the 1998 PGA TOUR Qualifying School.
La Quinta Resort Mountain Course
This La Quinta Resort Mountain course combines everything the desert has to offer. Many famous tournaments have been played on this legendary and exclusive " VIP players only " golfer's paradise.
