Developmental fitters take into account your current swinging motion; in order to prescribe the correct club specifications, which will enable the continual development of your game. Corrective fitting only considers the current swinging motion; ignoring in most cases the desired changes that you may be working on with your instructor. When this occurs, the equipment prescribed will actually prevent you from making the instructed changes you desire.
